traxis on the run

HI kids - I'm in Ottawa on a silly business trip - well it's been okay but waking up at 6:15 given that I'm two hours behind in time zones... uhg. It's been interesting to date, and I got to hang out in Ottawa spots with some people, which was cool. X says she'll be coming down for the weekend. That would be awsome! I haven't seen her in nearly 2 years!
Got sparkly dice and another minature. We went to the Casino and to a few clubs/bars - Patty Bolans' and Zaphods, we were going to check out the Well but there was no one there - hmmm. We'll be heading to Barrymores on Sunday night, which will be very cool.
What else? Chris is back home being a good boy - he's reinsulating the basement! He's so nice. Talked to him both yesterday and today. Saw my grandparents and parents yesterday; they're both doing technically well, but my grandparents are getting old and confused and my mum can't follow a conversation - her head is just about everywhere. Frustrating. Anyhow, going to lunch with them tomorrow (not my grandparents though) - and might see them Sunday for dinner. That's about it; will see them in December for holidays.
Can't wait to get back home though - missing Chris and the house; don't like sharing a room with two boys all that much - they leave the toilet seat up!
