Still alive - working my ass off every day though - and weekends have also been busy.
Am getting through the long "thank you" card list bit by bit, and am starting to enjoy the multitude of gifts we got.
Still facing difficult challenges from day to day at work - hoping that this will get better - can't see what I can possibly do to improve things more than what I have been doing.
Oh - and this weekend we are holding a garage sale - looking forward to getting rid of some of the junk, duplicate stuff, and things I just don't use from around the house. It will really clear up a lot of space in the house too. Feels good.

Hitched!
Got married this weekend after over a year of planning - everything went so great! We had 75ish people come in from all across Canada and abroad for the wedding - including my super awesome wedding party who were fantastic helping with everything from bouquet making to giving the best speeches ever. Family & friends were wonderful, so generous, and loving. So stoked to be Mrs. Parker!

So... I'm not too shabby a florist, if I may say so myself.
Made the test bouquet today. It's a bit small and not quite as rounded as I hoped, but that's okay.
My boutonnier test however, was BEAUTIFUL! I'm mighty impressed with myself! :)

oops...
Yup, it's been another half-month since I updated this thing.
Work is keeping me very busy - other than that, making big advances in the wedding planning.
This coming long weekend will be SO nice, but we are expecting to get a lot of work and stuff done what with holding a garage sale and Chris's friends coming over for a BBQ.
Kinda in the mood to go shop and watch a stupid movie on my own (hello, Nancy Drew movie!) and go get beauty stuff done. (shrug) We'll see - maybe I can squeeze something like that in on Canada Day itself.

So freakin' tired.
Want more sleep.
But today is press conference day; and pay day; and gotta-book-my-flight day.
(yawn)
Maybe I go home early? I don't know if that's possible.
In other news, bridesmaids dresses are all ordered. BIg thing checked off the "to do" list.
