I am *so* not done the finances, nor the minutes - and frankly, with weather this gorgeous, I could care less about them!
Enjoyed this weekend tremendously. Blew off work on Friday because we were hosting friends and I wanted to clean up the house. Friends came over on Friday night for BBQ and Jarhead both of which were manly and fantastic. Saturday went to WEM in the rain, got some primo shopping done. Got Mother's Day gift and walking shoes amongst some clothing deals. Went on a cooking spree Saturday night - made pasta from scratch along with sauce and a salad. Made bread pudding also for the first time - a huge success! Watched lots of FoodTV and an A&E bio on Julia Child. Today, took the dog for a short walk, then made a big breakfast at home, and just came back now from a good 2 hours at the dog park. Tonight - might watch hockey and make Chinese food for dinner. We'll see.
And, still must do work work - really - it's getting down to the wire now!
