Then got to the pre-meeting meeting a bit late, but still relatively on time. Found out that it was rather pointless as we couldn't get at the materials anyways. Went then to drop off the bowls and stuff from Octoberfest to the CS kids, ran into Dan46 and made plans to go for sushi for dinner.
Reheated my crab and spinach rissotto for lunch, chatted with my estranged labmate, then went to the actual meeting. Things were good, worked much longer than expected. Then went to the Chancellor's search which was good, got to see Lois, the Lieutenant Governor, and the Board Chair Jim. Super nice people.
Ran over to sushi with Dan, forgetting my dry cleaning. Had TONS of food, including snapper, which I had only previously had yellow fin snapper, not regular snapper. Delicious. Had plum wine too - yummy. Tea and gossiping at Steeps and headed home - of course, since I still had stupid Black Eyed Peas in my head, stopped by Chapters to buy the stupid CD.
Now just cleaning up before heading to bed - and waking up at bloddy 5 am to get on a cab and a plane etc. WILL NOT CHECK LUGGAGE - Must keep that promisse to myself!
