Here's what was supposed to be posted last night - trying to work around Blogger hating my laptop. Argh.

Ah - feeling good. Today was a very good day, productive yet not stressful. For X's sake, I will now break up my blog into paragraphs.
Woke up at the crack of dawn (okay, 7:30 am isn't really the crack of dawn, but it sure feels like it) so that Chris could go move his car. We got up, got dressed then headed to the car, moved it to a legal free parking space, then walked back to campus towing big construction stuff for his robots. Dropped things off at the office, then went next door for breakfast. It was funny because we were sitting there, me in my skull and crossbones touque, and the dean of students walked in and waved at us - I love my twisty life! After breakfast, went back to the office and worked on lots and lots of invitations, personalized letters, and the gigantic task of clearing out e-mail (hadn't been in the office for a week due to elections). I think everything is pretty much set for next Friday - our big awards gala. We also have a social event thingie at a coffee house next Weds, that's a piece of cake to organize. Anyhow, after a few hours of work and catching up with my co-worker/friends, I went to the hairdresser to get a wash, cut and style. Felt so nice to get rid of yucky out-of-shape hair style that had grown out of control in the last 2 weeks. Anyhow, was happy to pay good money for that.

Came back to the office and the secretary bought US cookies! Shared my gallon of milk with the office so we had official "snack time"! Chatted some more, finished lots more work, brought back office work from home and my school office so that I didn't have any missing bits around campus, and finally started cleaning my desk. Went next door for beer and lunch/late afternoon snack at 5 pm with Wendy and Neil, both were in great moods - very happy about that, it's been so long since they've been relaxed and friendly happy. Played pool for a bit with them - sucked royally - actually would shoot the cue ball straight into a pocket without hitting any other balls at all. UHG.
Walked home afterwards and made pancakes for dinner (yes, I eat strange meals) watched Lonely Planet (on Hungary and Romania) then paid a few bils over the phone. Cleaned up a bit more around the house, then went and coloured my hair - AH it is no longer mushy brown, it is BLACK BLACK BLACK with hints of purple casting. Also shaved my legs and pits, exfoliated, bathed, moisturized, waxed un-fun sections, did my eyebrows, Biore stripped my nose, then moisturized some more. Will touch up toenail polish (hot pink sparkles) and put ridgefiller and clear gloss on fingernails before going to bed.

Amongst the odds and ends of today, began reviewing a few articles for work, put together my mail in rebate for my printer and some missed aeroplan miles, did the garbage, restocked the TP, aranged my zen sand and rock minigarden (with Chris' help), and found a receipt that I was missing - will submit all these receipts to the office tomorrow - should get a fair chunk of change back - something like 500$!
Yesterday was fun too. Chris and I went out to the big shopping center out here in the early afternoon - he needed to buy these cheap-o long sleeve t-shirts that have like a fake short-sleeve t-shirt attached to them, oh, and underwear. I needed to investigate sport bras - as the one I have now allows for too much jiggling - I dread sagging in old age... Anyhow, not much luck on the 'sports' side of things, but did find glittery strapped four-way microfibre seam-free molded bras at LaSenza (black one and blue one - got one for free because had completed my "buy lots get one free" bra club card), and then the CUTEST Hello Kitty boy shorts in the world! My 1 pair of boyshorts cost more than 4x 3-packs of Chris' Zellers' boxers. But I deserve it. Went to the most glam grocery store for dinner supplies then went back to his place to cook oven-fried chicken and steamed artichokes (yum yum!). Then drove over to the south end to get Slapshots the movie with Paul Newman, and watch it over at my place (and Chris stayed over, nice).

Going to meet with Brad all tomorrow morning, get lots of work done. Mail my stuff, submit my receipts, hand in my reviewed articles, and finish cleaning my desk. Will have VERY light lunch (nothing like last time) then go jogging with Chris. Will also go visit his new and improved robots. Afternoon will be devoted to school work, really. Thursday means one school meeting - but that implies having to hand in lots of work to those people who will be there (despite the fact that the work isn't related to that one meeting). Some crapolla stuff is still going down at the office, but hopefully it will pass without major turmoil. Okay - must get ot bed now.
