Friday went to a bunch of meetings, had some wine and snackies there, and then got to go shopping a bit afterwards because we were done so early! Got my brother's christmas gift already - it's a t-shirt with Popey on it. Very cute. Went to my supervisor's place for a big gettogether, it was pretty nice, got to eat Pizza!
Saturday slept in only a little bit. Went shopping and running errands with Chris. We bought $140 worth of energy efficient lightbulbs. Not very cool, but useful. Also got some tulip and daffodil bulbs for the spring, and a bicycle! We had pub food for dinner and then went to Brad's place for his housewarming. It was a lot of fun, they have a big firepit in their backyard, and we gossiped the whole evening about the SU and the rest of the University. Wendy was there, she was quite moody and stupid, as usual. At least she didn't draw everyone's attention away from the fun to her pitiful little self. She also left early, which was good. She really pisses me off sometimes, I mean, she just got back from a 3-week trip to Europe and she's like "these chips are going to be my supper" like she can't afford to buy food for dinner. I am NOT going to feel or feign pitty for someone who gets to go to England, France, Germany, Spain, Sweeden and Ireland on holiday. Whatever!
Sunday went shopping a bit more with Chris - he got his bicycle, and we got trimmings for both our bikes. I did some gardening, and then we went to play golf. Did not too badly (70 on 9 holes), but could still improve way a lot more in the future! Had yummy yummy rissoto and steak for dinner.
Now, I need to do some homework before the meeting I must chair at 11 am. Must also find something for Jody's birthday tomorrow!
