traxis on the run

In the last 24 hours, we have finished moving everything from the old house into the new house, cleaned the old house completely, started putting away stuff, assembled my armoire, put away almost all the clothes, went to the Herritage day (think multicultural) festival, ate food, met Grant's new GF, killed another plant at Dan and Alison's, took down the antena and most of the shed stuff, had Roxanne and Pierre over as they needed a place to crash before heading to Calgary, went out to breakfast, and have now done the exit walk through with no deductions! Yay!

Now, we just need to finish putting everything away, hang decorations, buy a rug, make a bedside table (as they are bloody expensive), figure out storage for our liquor collection (which is huge), and then address the yard. There's a garden that needs reshaping, trees that need pruning, and in the end we'll need to dig up our old plants and bring them over. Need to also sell the firewood and carry over the scrap wood from construction projects.

Despite this, I am finally comfortable to do nothing for an hour, or two, and watch crap daytime tv.

Thank god.
