traxis on the run

So when we were in San Francisco, we went shopping in Haight Ashburry where we found one of my favourite gallery/stores Kid Robot. There was an exhibit on of this watercolor/graffiti artist and one picture was especially fetching - a girl with pigtails sitting on a stool near a rice cooker (done up in anime/graffiti style in pen and watercolors). I was thrilled to find out that the original went for only $35 framed (!) and could be shipped to Edmonton in a week or two (after the exhibit closed). I bought it, and have been waiting excitedly for it ever since.

But yesterday, I got a call from the shop to let me know that the painting that I had bought had been sold twice accidentally and I was the second buyer! There wasn't much anyone could do, so they just reimbursed me.

Really dissapointing.
