Things are ramping up now in the wedding planning stage - more on that on the wedding website. Am trying to eat much healthier - all the junk and on-the-run food was making feel extremely sluggish and yucky. Have been trying to eat tons of whole grains and stuff; I think it's working. Complex veggie dishes and lots of variety of protein has been great to make me bounce back too.
Am contemplating joining up at Tae Kwon Do group again... visited a dojo yesterday and was impressed with the facilities etc. The whole cultish mentallity and the need to "grow Tae Kwon Do" which turned me off of the sport back in Ottawa seems to be present at this local unit. Will maybe look at other groups too. Am not interested in stupid pyramid schemes.
Saw "Talledega Nights; the ballad of Ricky Bobby" which was pretty darn funny. Also went to Hooters for the first (and likely the last time) - not by choice. The yucky costumes and blatant sexism is not what turned me off really - it was the complete lack of vegetables, non-fried options, chicken wings with tips on, and reliance on Kraft pre-packaged sauces and dips. Yes - it's the FOODIE in me that opposes this restaurant!!!

I'm really enjoying Wing Chun, if there's a group in your area. I find the atmosphere a lot more laid-back and relaxed, plus there's much more emphasis on form and technique over brute strength. Either way, martial arts hurrah!
Also: you looked totally cute at your engagement party.
