traxis on the run

Hurrah! My friend Dan and Alison are back! They brought us very nice chocolates from Ireland, some cool Guiness playing cards and a promisse to take us out to dinner in thanks for taking care of their apartment. A few days ago, Roxanne and Pierre came to visit and pick up their remaining stuff before heading back to Calgary and brought us yummy yummy real mapple syrup.

Now, other than doing some studying for my exam, relaxed today, we went and got some more fix-up things for the house, and things are starting to shape up. The kitchen is mostly done, as is the family room - we just need to put up a few shelves, and look for a few finishing touches (wine/booze rack, area rug). Our bedroom is also finally put together, as Chris made me a bedside table. Am still looking for nice baskets for storing dirty clothes and linnens, however they are way more expensive than I had thought... so this may take some time to get.

Going to play Shadowrun tomorrow, with Dan P back, but Dan 46 gone. We should have all 5 members together in two weeks! Yay!
