traxis on the run

Uhg. I am quitting my job at Enterprise today. I got offered a 90 day contract with the City doing actual assessing at a great pay rate. I become eligible to apply for all the City jobs, but I hope to also get the Ombudsperson job... If I do get it, it would start on December 1 - which would be one month before the end of my City term, which would then go to part-time until I am ready to stop. Not bad!

Now's the hard part - properly resigning. My manager is away; I can talk to my area manager today or my assistant manager. I need to let them know that I am going to be quitting as of Monday - David had a good suggestion, to offer them one or two days where I can come in and work to make up for the short notice. I feel bad about not giving them very much notice, but I can't really help it.

Anyhow, I need to get ready for work - I am happy this will be the last time I get up so early!
