Week has gone well - please see the dog's website for more info on her progress.
Work is finally picking up - we're making headway both on internal and external projects, despite the fact that my Board is still not taking enough responsibilities over projects yet.... I mean, it's been three weeks and my VP Com still hasn't looked over the website I made up for her. Uhg. And my VP Fin. hasn't done a thing yet! Frustrating.
Anyhow, onto the weekend recap:
Friday - got home early, took dog in car for errands, dog puked like 6 times. Then when we got home later, she peed on the most expensive rug we have. Was in a terrible mood, frustrated over the dog and tired from worry. Didn't go to supervisor's wife's memorial - felt awful about that. Wanted to go shop, but had to walk the dog instead; learning responsibility.
Saturday - prep for wedding showers, things went very well. Both couples very surprised. Enjoyed the fun while hosting, which is rare. Games were a total hit. Cooked too many burgers. Rained a lot, so everyone was inside - which was kinda fun too. Everyone loved the dog. People left at 1 am which was good, not too late.
Sunday - clean up, dim sum treat from Chris for doing so much work for the party, went to play D&D which took forever, but was kinda good. D46 is gross as he eats like a slob and demands non-stop attention. Very frustrated with him. Hadn't seen the other D in forever, was good to hang with him again. Dog's been doing well, despite being a bit spazy recently - need to up her food intake to two full cups per day. Worried she may nearly be in "her time of the year" which would suck. Need to call a vet.
Today - gray and cloudy, so the office is freezing. Trying to do work but no one is around to do work or answer phones. Read one work document and mind keeps wandering to a whole bunch of other stuff I want to go do instead. Still unclear about secrecy/inside info between stakeholder groups. Will be leaving at 1 pm; go home to read - it's warmer there.
This week - big meeting, but I am still unclear about people's travel plans. Chris busy this weekend, must figure out if I should rent a car.
