traxis on the run

Good day today. Worked on school stuff till nearly 1 am, printed stuff out then went to sleep. Woke up around 11 am to get ready to meet my dad for lunch. Went to this great restaurant "Horn of Affrica" with my mum and dad - the food was very good, sorta like Indian food but not quite so heavy. Ate with a pancake-like bread and fingers. Yummy! Also had this spicy tea which is traditional to Ethiopia. Everything was really good. After I went to see Amelie with my mum at the Bytowne. It was such a great movie! I really enjoyed everything about it and would recommend it to everyone! Absolutely adorable, but not in a sugary-sweet cutsey way.
Going to meet Andre (from the store next to the cafe at which I worked) later this evening. He's always good fun. We'll probably go to a pub somewhere. Glad to hang out with someone not related to me for an evening.
Boxing day was a total hit yesterday. Went to a shopping center for about 3 hours and got the best deals ever! Two pairs of Jacob pants for $30 each; a lace dress for $25, a shirt dress for $20, and a tanktop for $10 from Suzy Sheir; three luxury bras for less than the price of one! AMAZING! Lace dress is very Sex and the City, which is good, but found a whole store which sold Carrie-like outfits! Annex is full of little tops, frufy skirts, hot dresses, the goods! Must see if WEM has one of these. Still waiting for the equestrian look to be out and something new to come in - from Fashion Television, looks like the Dandy look will be back (Yay!).
Will be calling Brad soon to wish him a happy birthday - miss the Edmonton kids lots. Spoke with Wendy for about 2 minutes yesterday... she was busy partying so couldn't chat for long. Spoke with Paula for a bit longer, which was nice. Will have to make all these phonecalls soon! Should do that now actually...
On the Chris front, everything is looking hunkydorey. E-mailing back and foth. He's not a man of many words... Will still have to wait until I get back to see how it pans out. But looks like it'll be good...(cross your fingers!)
